One Tough Cowgirl 💪





As many of you know, our little girl had a horse-related accident last week.
Isabel broke five ribs and her wrist, and sustained some internal injuries.



To those of you who have been following Kelly’s updates on social media and
reached out with prayer and kind notes—thank you. Knowing that so many people
care means so much to us and makes us grateful for good friends and community.



I sometimes call Isabel “the boss,” and that’s because she is one. She is
brave, determined, and resilient even when the chips are down. She is going
through a tough time, but I know she will persevere. And she will do it with
the grit and grace that makes the rest of us marvel.



While the road to full recovery will be a long journey, with the help of Dr.
Pepper, Taco Bell breakfast (all her requests!), and your continued prayers,
this cowgirl will be back on the saddle in no time.



Thank you so much for your well wishes, words of encouragement, and uplifting
prayers.




 



East TN To The Rescue 😁

A group of food trucks from East Tennessee are coming to the aid of our
neighbors to the north.



The trucks are mobilizing

to Kentucky to help communities recover from the recent devastating floods the
area has endured this summer.



While all the details have yet to be ironed out, I want to give a round of
applause to these members of our neighborhood reaching out to offer a helping
hand!
