But Ayanna will always fight for survivors; that’s why, this last week, she co-sponsored a bill to block Betsy DeVos from dismantling Title IX and taking protections away from survivors on college campuses.
Fighting for the rights of women and girls is what brought Ayanna to elected office in the first place, it’s a fight she has carried with her to Washington, and she will not back down. As the Trump-DeVos administration continues its cruel policy of rolling back crucial protections for the most vulnerable, Ayanna is proud to fight to ensure justice for survivors.
