When President Obama left office, the defense budget was $618 billion.
Now, Congress is looking at a defense authorization bill that is $120
billion more than what we had when Obama was president.

Ro’s taking a stand — and some incredible progressive leaders are joining

At some point, we have to draw the line. Standing up for international
peace is more than just rhetoric — it means voting against authorizations
that would pay for even more endless war.

We can’t let the White House get away with this. Congress passed
bipartisan amendments to end our support for the war in Yemen, and prevent
more conflicts in the Middle East. They blocked them.
