This week, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act , a huge accomplishment that Democrats delivered for the American people without a single Republican vote.

It makes the largest investment in clean energy and fighting climate change in history. It allows Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices. And it raises taxes on the wealthiest corporations so they will finally start to pay their fair share.

It’s not a far stretch to say this was one of the most important pieces of legislation I’ve had the honor to work on.

With the impacts that climate change is having on Minnesota — from record shattering heat waves and wildfires, to drought and flooding — this bill will give future generations the opportunity to live in the Minnesota we love without fear of the devastation of the climate crisis.

It’s a landmark piece of legislation — and it’s just the beginning of what we can accomplish. To keep building on our progress, I’m curious to know what issues are most important to you.
