Team, Trump’s handpicked Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, just announced the USPS is preparing to slash 50,000 jobs from the workforce. That accounts for nearly 10% of all postal workers. Donald Trump knew exactly what he was doing when he put DeJoy, a loyal mega-donor, in charge of the USPS. Louis DeJoy has made disastrous service changes, and it’s clear he’s not done. Our postal workers were on the front lines during the height of the COVID pandemic. They worked six days a week, delivering ballots, lifesaving medication, and more. We can’t leave our postal workers out to dry.
Coloradans’ daily lives are being affected by DeJoy’s dangerous policies. Veterans have received their disability checks late. Seniors missed necessary medication. And during the last election, countless folks had their mail-in ballots delayed. Jason has worked to fund the USPS and support our tireless postal workers.
