Background on the current Iran negotiations, and AIPAC’s role
AIPAC Update
Dear A.,
As negotiations continue over reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, reports indicate that a new agreement would provide temporary restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for hundreds of billions of dollars that would finance Iran’s regional aggression and ultimately its nuclear activities.
Congress must review any Iran deal and assess its implications for America and Israel.
In this new podcast episode, AIPAC’s Steve Beckerman provides a historical overview of the Iran nuclear issue, background on the current negotiations, and AIPAC’s role in working with Congress to address the Iranian threat.
The podcast gives important context for all of us who are concerned about Iran’s aggression against America, Israel and our other allies. For more about AIPAC’s position on the nuclear deal, read this AIPAC backgrounder.
