Last week, Governor Murphy and I led a day-long series of visits to New Jersey’s military bases.

This much is absolutely clear: our bases are critical to our state’s economy and our national security. The U.S. military is New Jersey’s second-largest employer and brings more than $6 billion in economic benefit to our state.

The Governor and I met with leaders from every military branch as we traveled across the state, and we were provided with a greater understanding of the need to work together to secure the futures of the Garden State's installations.
