Last week I helped pass the landmark Inflation Reduction Act through the House. Now that President Biden has signed this legislation into law, let me tell you why it's so important.

I fought to pass this legislation because it takes on the kitchen table issues that Granite Staters need us to address.

The Inflation Reduction Act will lower the cost of life-saving prescription drugs, reinvest in domestic manufacturing, reduce health care costs for millions of Americans, and shrink the deficit.

For years folks all across our nation have been asking Congress to do something about high prescription drug prices, health care costs, energy costs, and the fight to combat the climate crisis.

But team: This bill isn't only a win for the country – it's going to be a game-changer for Granite Staters. Especially for the seniors across our district – many of whom had to forgo retirement in order to pay for life-saving medical care and treatment.
