Our work for Gaza continues even with a so-called “cease-fire” Dear Email, The people of Gaza are still reeling from this latest aggression on the strip. 46 Palestinians including 17 children were brutally murdered, and hundreds more were wounded, as Israel indiscriminately decimated apartment buildings and neighborhoods around Gaza. Adding insult to injury, the Biden administration sided with the aggressors instead of the victims, expressing support for Israel’s “right to defend itself” even though it’s an illegal occupier that launched an unprovoked attack against the defenseless people it besieges. As an organization, we are always prepared for these crises. That’s why as Israel escalated their attacks, we took action. Around the country, we took the streets, organized community leaders, and galvanized nationwide supporters. Here’s what we’ve done in a matter of days: - We brought out thousands of people to protest US complicity in Israel’s attack on Gaza by organizing demonstrations in major cities across the country, including DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Dallas.
- We released multiple statements to galvanize the community and demand action from our leaders, and we released a social media fact sheet that was utilized by thousands of supporters.
- We hosted a community Qiyam session in Dallas, TX to unite in support of the Palestinian people and against these atrocities.
- We posted (and continue to post) social media content on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram that sheds light on the atrocities that Israel committed in Gaza.

This is just a part of what took place for Gaza. Check out what our 501c4 affiliate organization was able to do. As we have stated to you before, we will use every opportunity we have to fulfill our commitment to the Palestinian cause and to our supporters. This latest attack on Gaza may have only lasted a short period of time, but the devastation will be long-lasting, especially with Gaza remaining under Israel’s illegal siege. In one weekend, we at AMP and our partners at AJP Action were able to make a difference. We cannot allow Israel to continue this wanton violence against the people of Gaza. We cannot be content with the status quo. The complicity of the U.S. government must end, and with your support, we know we can bring about real change.
