Hello Friend!

I’m Luke Warford, your Democratic nominee for the Texas Railroad Commission.

This week we launched the Great Texas Train Tour from Beaumont to El Paso, making stops all along the way to tell folks what the Texas Railroad Commission really does, and why they don’t want you to know about it.

Despite the name, the Texas Railroad Commission doesn’t actually have anything to do with trains, Friend! It’s the agency responsible for regulating the oil and gas industry, winterizing our grid to avoid another deadly blackout, protecting our air and water, and maintaining our energy leadership.

My incumbent opponent, Wayne Christian, receives 99% of his campaign contributions from the very oil and gas executives he’s supposed to be regulating. Our elected officials should serve the public, not their corporate donors, and I need your help to hold Wayne accountable.

When voters hear about Wayne Christian’s role in last winter’s grid failure, I’m confident they will turn out and vote for us. So will you split a $7 contribution between my campaign and the Texas Democratic Party to help us reach voters across the state?

Friend, Texas is the energy capital of the world, which makes this race the most important climate race in the country. With your help, we can reduce our emissions, secure our grid, and make sure that Texans can keep the lights on.

Thanks for your support!
