John —

Did you see this recent headline from Politico?

Massive corporations and establishment leaders agree on one thing — they
want to sabotage our efforts to pass a Green New Deal and Medicare for
All.

This is why we’re fighting so hard to elect a new generation of
progressive Democrats in 2020. Without them, we’ll never be able to get
our urgent priorities passed. But right now, we’re behind on a critical
end-of-month goal.

$27
to help us meet that goal and support as many new, progressive leaders as
possible in 2020?

Just this week, Marist released a poll showing that our progressive
policies are overwhelmingly popular — even with moderates and Independent
voters. 77% of people 18-38 support the Green New Deal, regardless of
party. 64% of Midwesterners. 69% of self-identified “moderates.”

But establishment leadership is stuck in the past, and their big money
donors are doing everything in their power to influence the party away
from supporting what the people want. Large corporations might not be fans
of Medicare for All or a Green New Deal, but we the voters definitely are.

Our current Justice Democrats in Congress have already done an incredible
job of fighting for these issues and bringing them to the national stage.
But they need pressure from organizations like ours and more allies in
Congress if we’re finally going to pass Medicare for All, move forward
with a Green New Deal, and end the detention camps on the border.

[ [link removed] ]Justice Democrats is working directly with new progressive leaders who
will fight for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice in
2020. Will you donate
$27
to help us elect as many of those champions as possible?

We refuse all corporate funding, and 98% of our support comes from
small-dollar grassroots donations like the one we’re asking you for today
— because we’re a movement built by the people, fighting to build a
democracy for all of the people.

In solidarity
