This week President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act — transformative legislation that lowers health care costs, tackles the climate crisis, and ensures that the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share — all while reducing the deficit.
John worked hard to bring his colleagues together in the Senate to get this done, and they did. That’s in no small part thanks to your help, team. But with November’s midterm elections right around the corner — and our 50-50 majority on the line — here’s what concerns us:
Not a single Republican in Congress voted to pass this critical legislation.
That’s not a good sign. If Republicans reclaim the Senate majority this November, they’ll put a stop to all our progress — and they’ve already raised more than $200 million to flip vulnerable Senate seats, including right here in Colorado.
