96 Democrats Have All But Guaranteed a Red Wave Chairman Kyle
Hupfer speaks at the Hamilton County Great Outdoor Party. (July 24,
2022)
Last Friday I had the opportunity to say a few words at the
Hamilton County Great Outdoor Party in Noblesville. It was a great
evening, and I enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones.
If there was one takeaway, it was that Hoosiers are more fired up than
ever to take back the U.S. House and Senate this fall.
That same day,
the U.S. House passed the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act" along
party lines. Ignoring all nonpartisan analyses, Democrats, for the low
cost of $740 billion, ensured that inflation wouldn't be reduced at all.
In fact, they may have ensured the exact opposite.
Americans know it,
too. In a recent poll, three times as many respondents thought the bill
would increase inflation rather than decrease it.
Rather than focus
on the worst inflation crisis in 40 years, Democrats decided to pass a
bill that will do nothing to fix it. Instead, they decided to increases
taxes, shrink the economy, kill thousands of jobs, devastate the
manufacturing sector, supersize the IRS, hand out billions in subsidies
for the wealthy, and spend $25 million to combat cow burps and manure,
and on and on and on.
This is only the latest in a long list of
actions by Washington Democrats that have all but guaranteed a red wave
this November.
Enjoy this week’s newsletter and share it with a
friend.
Sincerely,
Chairman Kyle Hupfer
