Eight days ago, Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice made an unprecedented raid on the private residence of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. In so doing, Merrick Garland betrayed his oath and shattered his promise to “show the American people by word and deed that the Department of Justice pursues equal justice and adheres to the rule of law.”
We now know that Garland personally signed off on the disgraceful operation against former President Trump, which sent dozens of armed FBI agents to raid Mar-a-Lago, not only shocking the consciences of Americans across the country, but clearly demonstrating, yet again, the Biden Administration’s highly political justice system.
If a former President’s private residence can be raided, and the First Lady’s closets searched, nobody is safe from tyrannical government overreach.
