Vox: House Democrats have passed nearly 400 bills. Trump and Republicans are ignoring them.

Rush an urgent donation toward our work to flip the Senate next year and end Mitch McConnell’s stranglehold on progress: [link removed]

Mitch McConnell has made a mockery of our democracy, folks. He has NO shame making a career out of blocking just about every progressive bill that comes his way and turning the Senate into a legislative graveyard.

Right now, there are nearly 400 bills just sitting on his desk collecting dust.

From protecting and expanding our health care to gun safety measures to raising the minimum wage to tackling the climate crisis… you name it! All of these reforms are being held up because of petty partisan politics.

If Democrats don’t take back the Senate in 2020, McConnell is going to continue his reign as the Grim Reaper of the Senate — no matter who gets hurt along the way.

But we need to start building the resources it takes to flip the Senate from red to blue next year — or else we won’t stand a chance at ending McConnell’s stranglehold on progress.

So, we’re asking: will you pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford before our all-important FEC fundraising deadline? Your contribution today will go a long way in our work to flip the Senate in 2020.

Thanks for everything you do to help put our country back on the right track. We’ve built a great team here in Wisconsin and we want to make sure Democrats across the country know they can rely on our support in the coming months.
