Good afternoon friend,

In a few short weeks, we will launch the campaign that will take us up to the
next general election. We’re calling on MPs to demand parliamentary time for a
future assisted dying bill in party manifestos. You can help us prepare by filling out this 30 second survey.

We need a free and fair debate on assisted dying. One that is not constrained by
an archaic process that’s easily manipulated by opponents to block progress. To
achieve this, we need to secure time for any future assisted dying bill to be
fully scrutinised, debated, and brought to a vote. We need all major political
parties to pledge to Make Time for Assisted Dying.

That work starts at party conferences. MPs across the political spectrum need to know that assisted dying is an
election issue. It is a change their constituents demand and that dying people
need.

We want to be able to influence party policy from the grassroots up. Could you answer a few quick questions
[[link removed]] to help us do this? Here’s the first question:

Are you a member of a political party?

Yes

At the moment the next general election is set to be in 2024, but recent
political turmoil means there could be a snap election at any time. Our work to
put assisted dying on the agenda starts now. There will be many ways you can
help - please start with this quick 30 second survey:

Are you a member of a political party?

Yes

Thank you so much for being with us on this journey, I so appreciate it.

All best wishes,

P.S. I know this is a personal question and it’s absolutely ok if you’d rather not
say. I want to make sure that you are given the opportunity to take action where
you can have the most impact, which this survey
[[link removed]] will help us to do.

Our campaign is powered by members - people who support us with a small regular
gift so we can plan out the most effective actions to bring about an assisted
dying law. Sign up and join thousands of other Dignity in Dying members across the
