It’s outrageous enough that female college students were secretly filmed in a locker room. But the footage was posted to XHamster and Pornhub.

Women on a college field hockey team were preyed upon by a man who secretly filmed them showering and changing in a locker room. That footage was uploaded to XHamster and Pornhub.

Nine of those women have sued XHamster and Pornhub for this crime, and the National Center on Sexual Exploitation has joined as co-counsel in this lawsuit that highlights the egregious exploitation of image-based sexual abuse.

Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Against Twitter Continues on Appeal

Several prominent child protection and anti-exploitation organizations, as well as two renowned academic researchers, have filed amicus briefs with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit supporting two childhood sexual abuse survivors in their lawsuit against Twitter.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Professor Hany Farid, Professor Brian Levine, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P), RAINN, and Child USA filed Amicus Briefs in the lawsuit, John Doe #1 and John Doe #2 v. Twitter, Inc.

Could You or a Loved One Qualify for a Lawsuit?

We know that the abuse can feel so overwhelming that it appears inevitable and that, sometimes, justice can feel like a lost cause. But the abuse is not inevitable and your justice is not a lost cause. It’s our cause. If you’re ready to see justice served, we are ready to help.

At the National Center on Sexual Exploitation Law Center, we are passionate about championing the rights of survivors. We strive to bring cases that will help shape and set precedents which will make the world a better and safer place.

CONTENT WARNING: This series features content that viewers may find disturbing, including images and themes of simulated child sexual abuse, incest, and sexual assault. Nudity has been blurred. Viewer discretion is strongly advised.

The pornography industry creates endless images and videos that are consumed by billions worldwide. Yet surprisingly little is known about how this culture-shaping content is made—or at what cost.

Beyond Fantasy is a documentary miniseries that takes viewers straight into the belly of the beast and brings them face to face with some of the biggest porn producers and performers as they describe, in their own words, an industry that profits from ethical violation, coercion, and abuse.

ACTION: Contact your Senator and urge them to COSPONSOR and support the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA)!

The online world of social media, messaging apps, and video games has cultivated an unregulated breeding ground for predators to abuse and exploit children, fostering dangerous consequences for children, such as bullying and harassment, depression, addiction, and suicidal ideation.

The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) ensures that safeguards are implemented on every interactive app or digital platform connected to the internet in order to: limit unrelated adults from contacting a minor; restrict the sharing of a minor’s geolocation data; ensure that parental controls are enabled by default, among other protections.
