If your inbox looks anything like mine, I’m sure you’re getting a lot of emails asking you to donate to campaigns and organizations. So, I’d like to take a moment to explain why your support is so critical to Sister District.

With Congress in a near-constant state of gridlock, electing progressives at the state level is our best bet to tackle some of the most important issues our communities face, from abortion access and climate change to voting rights and gun violence.
Grassroots dollars go a lot further in state legislative races than big-budget federal races. Because we prioritize races in swing states with key Senate and Congressional races, our work to persuade and turn out voters for our state legislative candidates will help us protect and expand our Democratic majority at the federal level — at a fraction of the cost.
With so much at stake in 2022, we’re going all in. We’ve already exceeded over $800,000 in candidate donations and 100,000 phone calls to voters. Now, we’re doubling our endorsed candidates and expanding to three new states — but this means we need even more resources to fund our efforts.
