Fellow American, This past week, it was my opponent Jahana Hayes’ turn to be interviewed on the Real Story, and it left me with many questions and great concern. Here’s why: When Hayes first ran in 2018, she pledged never to take any corporate money – but since she’s been in office, she has taken at least $100,000 from some of our nation’s largest corporations. She hesitated and redirected her response on whether she would support Biden in 2024, but by the end of it, Hayes stated that she would vote for Biden, despite his plummeting approval rating. When asked about Hayes paying her children with campaign finances, all she said was that it wasn’t illegal. She couldn’t even state what role they play in her campaign! Shouldn’t we be worried about having an elected official who is flip-flopping, can’t give us a straight answer, and crosses the verge of lying to the American people?! Because I sure am, and it’s time for a change. Help me be that change, Fellow American. SPARK CHANGE NOW But the biggest concern for me? Hayes stated, “My record matches what the people in this district have asked for.” Did our people ask for more taxes? Did they ask for soaring high inflation? Did they want to have to choose between putting food on the table or paying for gas to get to work? OF COURSE NOT! These issues are hurting not only our state but our nation as a whole. Hayes will always be the reliable vote for Biden and Pelosi, so it’s up to you and me to put an end to it.
