PFLAG is teaching major brands how to create inclusive experiences and spaces for the people we love, and those brands are financially committing to PFLAG’s mission to do that work. Sperry, one of PFLAG National's many partners, has been a significant multi-year partner with PFLAG National to do this, including the creation of PFLAG-celebratory products to engage new people who might not know about us.

PFLAG National has now also partnered with Sperry, a division of Wolverine World Wide, Inc., to learn more about our community's shopping preferences and experiences. We're #PFLAGProud to partner with Sperry to help us further our mission of creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Help us better evaluate the inclusivity of shopping experiences by taking a brief survey (participants who complete the survey will also receive a code for 20% off one full-price item at Sperry.com).

PFLAG has been working with several companies (including Sperry) primarily in service of our gender-diverse loved ones who deserve a positive experience when shopping and when searching for apparel that is gender-inclusive of all expressions. Gender euphoria is real. Apparel and accessories that are designed to meet the needs of all people help. So does the experience of shopping in places where the staff is educated on how to approach everyone inclusively (e.g., not assuming gender, identity, or what someone is looking for based on their perceptions of the individual). But to do that, organizations -- like Sperry and PFLAG -- need to understand what people need and how to meet those needs, so surveys like this are integral. 

Sperry will collect the information provided by participants to evaluate the inclusivity of shopping experiences. Sperry will in turn share some of your feedback with us so that we can help identify ways to improve the overall shopping experiences of our community. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes of your time and PFLAG National will not have direct access to your survey responses.
