Reading your answers has given us so much insight into what kind of work our movement is hoping to see our campaign prioritize.
John,
Last week, we invited our supporters — including you — to complete our official Team Cori General Election Strategy Survey and play a hands-on role in helping our team determine our strategy for the next months.
We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who finished our survey. We are so thankful that this team answered the call and took the time to share thoughts and recommendations so we're prepared to win on November 8.
Reading your answers has given us valuable insight into what kind of work our movement is hoping to see our campaign prioritize. It's clear that this team wants to hear more about Cori's record and vision for transforming politics.
In a moment, we'll share the top results with you, but first, we have to ask: John, if you're with Cori in this movement for anti-racist, progressive change, will you chip in any amount now so we can keep Cori in Congress and continue building a new kind of politics that lifts ALL of us up?
Here are some of the top takeaways from the survey:
- 68.82% of respondents said sharing Cori's vision for racial, economic, and environmental justice was the most important response to prioritize in our campaign.
- 65.04% of respondents recommended spreading Cori's record of passing more than 25 pieces of legislation in her first term in Congress.
- And 54.09% of respondents said our campaign should prioritize having local community leaders speak to Cori's record.
Reading through these responses reminds us what this campaign is all about — people-powered change to transform our politics and ensure our communities are prioritized. Other recommendations included ensuring high voter turnout, promoting our progressive agenda, and clearly communicating the stakes of this election.
We're proud of the work Cori and this campaign have put into organizing across the district and spreading our message — but with Election Day quickly coming up, there's a lot more work ahead of us.
Please, implementing this strategy requires a lot of resources — will you step up with a $5 or more donation now to power our campaign to re-elect Cori and fight for the change St. Louis and communities like it need?
