Jack, Trump's favorite election denier is on the ballot for governor in Arizona. If she wins, she would be the person who certifies electoral votes in this uber swing state in 2024.. For the sake of our democracy, we need your help to support six local organizations on the ground in Arizona who are doing the hard work to turn out voters.

Fight back in Arizona by donating $1 to each of these 6 local civic organizations who are working on the ground to turn out voters in communities targeted by Republican voter suppression campaigns.

Kari Lake, endorsed by Trump, spent her gubernatorial primary campaign fuming over unfounded voter-fraud allegations. Her victory in the midterm election could upend election integrity in Arizona, a state upon which control of both the White House and the U.S. Senate regularly hinges.

That is why we are supporting amazing voter turnout efforts by community organizations on the ground in Arizona who are working to defeat Kari Lake. These groups have proven their ability to mobilize a winning coalition of Latinx, Indigenous, young, working class, and rural voters against staggering odds. Let's make sure they have the resources they need to continue their game-changing work.

P.S. Below is an email we sent out earlier supporting Arizona voter turnout efforts:

Jack, Arizona has become one of the top three or four swing states in the entire country, with control of both the Senate and the White House now regularly hinging on outcomes in the Grand Canyon State. This year will be no different, as Sen. Mark Kelly's reelection campaign could well determine which party controls the Senate next year.

However, what is different now is that a conspiracy theory loving, Big Lie embracing Republican is on the cusp of taking over the governor's mansion, potentially giving her the ability to certify Arizona's electors in 2024.

Kari Lake, an election denier, won the Republican primary for governor in Arizona. She really is about as bad as it gets when it comes to Republicans who embrace the Big Lie. As Politico wrote about her last week, "with her obsessive insistence on unproven election fraud, the Arizona GOP nominee holds a special place in Trump’s eye."

Once again, if she wins in November, this is the person who could be certifying Arizona's electoral votes in two years. This is what we’re up against – an attempt to totally erode our democracy.

But we can and must ensure the future of democracy by using our greatest democratic tool – OUR VOTE. And, very luckily for us, we have amazing boots on the ground in Arizona who are doing the hard work of making sure folks in communities targeted by Republican voter suppression campaigns get out and vote this midterm election.
