Friends -

The day after the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, a Navy and National Guard Veteran tried to break into the FBI’s Cincinnati office and died hours later after a standoff with officers.

In the days that followed, it became clear he was the target of far-right disinformation, sharing wild conspiracy theories and participating in conversations about the need for violence.

He even interacted with a Marjorie Taylor Greene post about “fixing elections in plain sight... the next step is the one we used in 1775.”

Here is the truth:

One of the MOST IMPORTANT pieces of our work is connecting Veterans with Veterans who have been the target of far-right disinformation.

Look at the number of Veterans at the Capitol on January 6. Look at this sad story.

Our work is critical. It’s important. It works. But the program is funded by people like you. So we need to take a break from the politics today, and ask:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to help fund VoteVets' program connecting Veterans with Veterans who are being targeted by far-right disinformation campaigns?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

Thank you,

The team at VoteVets
