Dear John,
Happy Friday!
I thought you would enjoy hearing about the findings of a new wide-ranging literature review.
It examined 721 empirical papers (published between 1996 and 2022) using the Economic Freedom of the World index, and found that economic freedom helps produce faster economic growth, higher living standards, and more happiness.
It also finds that economic freedom leads to positive outcomes in others areas, including reduced wars and terrorist attacks; increased innovation; and improved human rights.
You can read the full review here.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Niels Veldhuis
