John,
Welcome to Netroots Nation Day 2!
Yesterday was jam-packed with juicy content covering a host of topics from the upcoming midterms to abortion access. We heard from grassroots organizers and elected officials across Pennsylvania on how they are building power in their communities for the long-term.
During our opening keynote, Congressional candidate Summer Lee talked about how Black and brown communities are organizing and mobilizing to build a movement and elect people who truly represent the communities they serve.
"We decided it was time to stop fighting the power. What if we started taking the power? What if we started building power around the most marginalized? What if we started centering the voices of the most impacted?"
