Leora Levy Reflects on One Year Since Afghanistan, Biden & Blumenthal’s Failed Leadership
GREENWICH, CT - This week marked one year since Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. From abandoning over $7 billion in military equipment and our state of the art Bagram Air Force Base to the Taliban, to the loss of 13 American heroes, to allowing our enemies to witness weakness on the world stage, Biden miserably failed our nation and the Afghan people. Over 70% of Americans believe the US is headed on the wrong track, but Blumenthal continues to stand by Biden.
Calling for a return to Reagan’s “peace through strength” mantra, Republican challenger for U.S. Senate and political outsider Leora Levy urged voters to retire Blumenthal once and for all.
“Dick Blumenthal has been in office for 37 years and is polling lower than ever because he continues to choose Biden’s disastrous agenda over the American people. When thirteen brave American service members lost their lives, Blumenthal did not hold Biden accountable. Nor did he call into question the numerous lies associated with the failed withdrawal. But what can you expect from a politician who has made a career out of stealing veterans’ valor?
“Biden is destroying our reputation on the world stage, encouraging corrupt foreign powers like Russia and China to feel that they can freely pursue their own despotic agendas and trample human rights. It is time for America to elect leaders who will always prioritize American interests, American energy independence and American national security. It is time to elect principled leaders who agree with Reagan’s ‘peace through strength’ policy to deter our enemies. Voters are ready to retire Blumenthal and send in a political outsider who will fight for our nation’s interests at home and abroad.”
