Hey there folks,

Republican Liz Cheney’s primary defeat in Wyoming proves it: democracy is on the ballot this November.

There’s no doubt that Liz absolutely did the right thing by standing up to Donald Trump. But apparently, when you’re running in a GOP primary, doing the right thing is a liability.

Republicans are willing to put Donald Trump’s fleeting demands above all else. And they’ll trample over any person, principle, or law to do it – no questions asked.

Even though she knew the risks, Liz Cheney listened to her conscience and stood on the side of democracy. While it cost her this election, history will remember her courage. But, John, this isn’t the end of the fight. It’s the beginning.

Republicans are targeting Elaine because she’s working alongside Liz to defend our Constitution. If they succeed in flipping VA-02, we’ll lose another effective pro-democracy champion in Congress.
