You are receiving this email because you have signed up to be notified when the Regulatory Compliance Division of the Office of the Governor commences a review of a rule or issues a determination letter on a rule under review. Established pursuant to Subchapter C, Chapter 57, Texas Occupations Code, the Regulatory Compliance Division conducts an independent review of certain state agencies? rules that affect market competition to assess their consistency with state policy as clearly articulated by the Legislature in state statute.
The Regulatory Compliance Division has recently issued an addendum to a determination letter for the following rules:
- Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, Title 22 Texas Administrative Code ?781.501 (RCD Rule Review #2022-004) and ?801.261 (RCD Rule Review #2022-005)
The division has approved the proposed rules, which consolidate and amend the continuing education requirements for social work and marriage and family therapy licensees.
