I’ll cut right to the chase.

My opponent claimed that our new law, the Inflation Reduction Act, will raise taxes for everyday Americans. That is false. This law will only make sure the wealthiest Americans, who’ve too often avoided paying taxes in the past, will finally pay their fair share.

The Inflation Reduction Act is a landmark victory. This is the first real investment the U.S. has made in fighting climate change in years. And it will lower the cost of essential prescription drugs as well.

Now, I need to hear from you: Do you support our efforts over the last few weeks to improve the lives of working families? I need your input in the next 48 hours to plan for September’s return to Washington. [[link removed]]
I agree! [[link removed]] I don't [[link removed]]

Democrats have had one of the most productive sessions in Congress in decades since regaining a slim majority. We’ve passed not only the IRA into law, but: *
CHIPS
Act

I’m
an
original
cosponsor
of
this
now-law
which
not
only
creates
more
jobs
in
semiconductor
manufacturing,
but
increases
our
competitiveness
on
the
global
stage
in
science
and
technology.
*
Bipartisan
Safer
Communities
Act

The
first
law
to
protect
Americans
from
gun
violence
to
pass
in
nearly
30
years,
it
adds
incentives
for
states
to
pass
red
flag
laws,
expands
background
checks,
and
expands
laws
that
prevent
domestic
abusers
from
owning
a
gun.
*
Bipartisan
Infrastructure
Act

This
law
adds
new
jobs
in
modernizing
our
roads,
bridges,
and
more.
It
also
invests
in
electric
vehicles
and
replaces
lead
pipes.
*
American
Rescue
Plan

This
is
what
lifted
us
out
of
the
main
parts
of
the
pandemic,
getting
shots
in
arms
and
checks
in
the
hands
of
millions
of
working
families.

I’ve also introduced the End Tuberculosis Now Act in the House—because with the pandemic impacting health systems, about 1.5 million people worldwide have died of tuberculosis just in 2020—and I will continue fighting to codify marriage equality and access to contraceptives.

I need to hear your input, please take my poll right away to share your thoughts on the IRA and all the other great work Democrats are doing and inform my work after the recess → [[link removed]]

Be well,
