A few weeks ago, we asked you to email your Senators and Representatives, and you turned out!

Pro-abortion leaders are supporting bills targeting pregnancy resource centers (S. 4469 and H.R. 4210). They want to impose excessive fines on PRCs if they make “misleading statements related to the provision of abortion services.” This could even include unrelated things like using blue and pink in their branding [[link removed]]!

If you participated, thank you! We sent over 3,000 emails to the Senators and Representatives supporting these bills—enough to get a response from Sen. Merkley’s office.

Your message told representatives in Congress that pregnancy resource centers are compassionate and caring members of our communities. You let them know that, in Oregon, we support families and their unborn children. Did you know Oregon PRCs outnumber Planned Parenthood locations 11 to 1 [[link removed]]? Excessive restrictions on these centers will limit their ability to reach families in need.
