I’ll be blunt: A lot of Republicans have claimed that Democrats haven’t accomplished anything in Congress. And while I’ve been working to make a positive change for Alabama, they’re more than happy to pretend not to know who’s fighting for our future.

Well, they may not know my name, but they definitely know my work.

When marriage equality came under threat from right-wing fanatics, I voted to protect it.

When our voting rights were being suppressed by GOP-led state legislatures, I introduced the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to preserve them.

When Americans all over the country called for life-saving gun reform, I voted to make sure no parent loses a child to senseless gun violence.

And when communities of color were systemically denied access to good-quality health care coverage, I proudly introduced a bill to make access to care more equitable.

I’ve worked tirelessly in Congress to push for progress, and I’m not stopping now. If you’re with me, can I count on you to rush a $25 donation right now so I can keep up the work in Congress?
