John, we all know that more guns create more problems, but that is not what Attorney General Miyares and Glenn Youngkin think. They think the more armed officers in schools, the better.

We have seen an increase in gun violence throughout the United States, and naturally with this crisis comes preventative security measures. But in Virginia elementary schools, their solution is to add more guns to schools.

Let’s be clear: we support common-sense measures to reduce gun violence, especially in schools, but this is NOT the answer.

Schools are the cornerstone of our Commonwealth. We need proven effective methods that keep our children safe during their school day.

John, more guns in elementary schools is not a solution to gun violence – it only begets more. We need to send Hala to Richmond to knock some sense into these politicians. Will you contribute $5 to our campaign today, and help us create sustainable solutions to our gun violence problem?
