Summer has been busy,
John!

[ [link removed] ]But before we dive into everything Summer has been up to lately, can
you chip in $5, or whatever you can, to help us continue to
fund our voter turnout efforts until November?

From meeting with voters to strategizing with progressive leaders from
across the nation, Summer knows that the best way to build a
multi-generational, multi-cultural movement is to engage with folks at all
levels of the political process.

This past weekend, Summer hit the streets at the 55th annual Harambee
Ujima Black Arts, Cultural and Wellness Festival — a cultural
collaboration that advocates and advances the Black Arts Movement in order
to preserve all forms of Black Art in the greater Pittsburgh region.

Then she met with friends and neighbors, including fellow state
representative, Sara Innamorato, at Barrel and Flow, a community event of
music, visual art, and culinary art with the mission to provide economic
empowerment for the Black community.

And currently, Summer is at Netroots, a cornerstone convention for
American progressive political activists, to speak on and join together in
solidarity with other progressives from across the nation.

It’s only by listening to folks from all backgrounds about their values,
struggles, and stories, that we will win. That is why Summer has been so
busy, John,
because she knows that solidarity is the way forward.

Summer doesn’t take a penny from corporate PACs, because she knows that
solidarity is also about remaining accountable to those you serve. That is
why we need your help to continue forward as we grow closer and closer to
Election Day. [ [link removed] ]Please consider chipping in $5 so we can
continue building this movement of everyday people.

Team Summer
