Supporting trans joy and power

Hi friend,

As a former candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, I am always thrilled to see transgender candidates run for office. In 2022, there are more than twenty trans people in races for U.S. House, State House and Senate, and county government seats.

We support trans people running for office because it's important for us to have representation at all levels of government. As more politicians seek to attack us and legislate our rights away, we want more trans people in positions of power to fight for our dignity and push back against hate. This is how we build trans power.

The National Center for Transgender Equality Action Fund staff are preparing to register voters around the country in preparation for these upcoming elections. Help us build a voting base that will elect trans candidates and forge a path to trans liberation by making a gift to the NCTE Action Fund. Throughout the month of August, all donations will be matched up to $5,000 thanks to a generous donor.

If you've been wanting to do more to support trans rights and trans joy, this is an important time to take action. Make your gift today!
