Another week, another email about Marjorie Taylor Greene.

What did she do now? After the FBI executed a lawful search warrant of Mar-a-Lago to take possession of the classified materials that Donald Trump had apparently absconded with, Greene marched herself over to the clerk’s office to file articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland, stopping on the way to tell reporters what she was about to do. 🙄

This is just a taste of what MAGA Republicans will do if they take control of Congress in November. MTG and the rest of the GOP are dead set on making a mockery of every remaining pillar of our democracy, and we won’t stand for it. We’re at a loss for words.

Sure, we could say that Merrick Garland was doing his job. You already know that.

We could say impeachment is a grave and serious tool to be used by Congress when extreme conditions merit it, not merely to score political points. You already know that, too.

We could say that Marjorie Taylor Greene is an extremist. But here’s the thing, John: she’s not anymore – at least, not within the GOP. She and the rest of Donald Trump’s minions have pulled their party to the fringes and she is now a mainstream Republican. 

We need to hold our majorities, give MTG the boot, and protect the country from a Republican Party that’s gone entirely off the deep end. Will you rush a donation ASAP to make that happen?
