I’m Amy -- Dr. Mahmood’s new campaign manager.

I’m going to be on the ground in CA-40 working to make sure we close out the final months of this election in the strongest way possible to bring home the victory. But today, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and shed some light on why I joined this campaign.

I’ve worked on a number of ultra-competitive races like this one. I have to say, when you’re working to elect a candidate like Dr. Mahmood -- it can make a hard job *much* easier.

Asif leads by example. Whether he’s serving patients or doing charitable work, it’s immediately clear (to everyone he meets) that he cares deeply about the people he serves. If you need proof, look no further than this policy at his medical practice: If a patient doesn’t have insurance, his office won’t ask for payment.

We need more people in Congress who understand the daily struggles we face. Asif works with folks grappling with rising costs of housing, health care, prescription drugs, and so much more. Too many in Congress are out of touch with that reality -- Asif isn’t .

I have the important task of making sure voters across CA-40 know who Asif is and why he’d make an incredible member of Congress. As you know, doing this takes resources, and I’m really hoping to hit the ground running as his new manager:
