Quickly touching base with you this morning:

I have to tell you I thoroughly enjoy serving you in Congress each day. It’s an honor to wake up and know that my job is to represent the American people.

But, friend, I have to be honest I HATE asking for money for my reelection campaign. Unfortunately, I have to– there’s just no way to win without financial support. We need funding for our team, our rallies, yard signs, and ad buys– and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Democrats have it easy because they’re backed by big tech, big media, and wealthy donors. We, Republicans, have hard-working Americans on our side. That’s why I’ve decided to reach out to you personally to ask for help.

Friend, can you help our team and make sure I get reelected? We can’t lose any crucial Republican seats if we’re serious about winning a majority in Congress this fall. I know you care about America as much as I do, so your help means a lot.
