Clean air. Strong economy.

Canadians know that climate change is real. That’s why Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have been taking meaningful climate action while building a strong economy.

Since one of the best ways to tackle climate change is planting more trees, we’re planting 2 billion of them! This is just one of the many steps that we’re taking towards reducing pollution and building a better future for everyone.

Eliminating chronic homelessness

The wellbeing of all Canadians has always been a priority for our Liberal team.

That’s why our Liberal government is investing in over 75,000 services to prevent people from becoming homeless or helping to place them into housing.

This initiative and many more are bringing us one step closer to eliminating chronic homelessness.

Making child care affordable

From day one, our Liberal government has prioritized making life more affordable for Canadian families.

We’ve signed agreements with every single province and territory to deliver a Canada-wide child care system that families can rely on. That means creating 250,000 new child care spaces across Canada, and moving towards $10-a-day child care for all families.

And that is exactly what we’re delivering on as we position Canada as a global leader in manufacturing zero-emission vehicles.

Our Liberal government has secured thousands of good jobs by attracting historic investments from around the world to build ZEVs, batteries, and hybrids in Canada.

Making life more affordable

Global inflation has made it difficult for Canadians to put food on the table and fill up their tanks. That’s why our Affordability Plan puts more money in the pockets of Canadians who need it most this year.

We enhanced the Canada Workers Benefit, increased the Old Age Security pension, provided a $500 payment to Canadians struggling with rent, cut child care fees by an average of 50% percent by the end of this year, and so much more.

If you're interested in reading about more of the ways that we’re making life more affordable for Canadians who need it most, check out our new blog post.
