Breaking news: A federal judge just removed an injunction protecting women’s reproductive rights in North Carolina under federal law.
Here’s the important thing to know: North Carolina state law still protects women's reproductive freedoms.
Women in North Carolina still have a legal right to an abortion until 20 weeks in our state and after if their life or health is at risk. This remains true even after the Supreme Court stripped women of their right to an abortion under the Constitution by overturning Roe v. Wade.
But folks, as states across the nation ban abortions in all instances, including cases of rape and incest, protecting these freedoms is more important than ever.
As long as Josh is our state’s Attorney General, he will keep doing everything he can to ensure women in North Carolina can exercise their reproductive freedoms.
If you support Josh, want to elect pro-choice Democrats up and down the ballot, and stop the GOP from taking away our freedoms – let your voice be heard.
Add your name if you support Josh in the fight to defend access to reproductive health care.
This fight is not over, folks. Women — not the politicians in the General Assembly — should have the power to make their own reproductive health care decisions in consultation with their loved ones and their doctor.
That’s why it’s never been more important to keep pro-choice Democratic leaders in office.
Thanks for your continued support,
Team Stein
