Look, I’ve always known that this race wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. In fact, I fully expected that the GOP would target me and my record.

But what I didn’t expect is the amount of money they’ve funneled into this district. The Republican Party has spent over $2 million in attacks against our campaign!

Let me be clear when I say that the GOP doesn’t spend this much on just any congressional race. They’ve made it clear that they’re targeting my district as one of the four they need to take control of the House.

To make matters even more urgent, many of the most respected political forecasting groups just downgraded my race to “toss-up” – signaling to the Republicans that we’re vulnerable.
