John, We have an update from our fundraising team and the news is not good — we just looked at August’s numbers and we have raised less than half of what we had brought in at this time last year. John, will you help us make up the difference by donating to Shamann? DONATE HERE » This year is an election year and a scary time to be falling behind on our fundraising goals. Shamann has done a great job delivering on his promises for the city, but now we need to get the message out to voters. To beat Shamann’s opponent we’ll need to mobilize District 10 voters and remind them to turn out this fall. We need to run digital advertisements, print literature, and host campaign events. Unfortunately, this all costs money and currently we’re not where we need to be. Your contributions can help make a difference in this race, John. Every dollar earned will go towards knocking one more door this fall, launching one more online ad, or printing one more mailer to send to a potential voter. With the election a little more than two months away, we need to send our fundraising into overdrive if we’re going to make an impact.
