Friend,
Earlier this month, Israeli forces launched "pre-emptive" raids on Gaza, killing 47 Palestinians, including 16 children.
Every one of these deaths is an insurmountable tragedy, and the suffering will only continue if the U.S. doesn't condemn it.
Al Jazeera reports that the latest bombings have caused Gaza's healthcare system to fall apart entirely. Making matters worse, Gaza’s only powerplant was shut down after Israel stopped the planned fuel transport into Gaza.
"The situation is so sad and unimaginable," 65-year-old Ashkinan said at the Gaza hospital to Al Jazeera. "No human being can bear what we bear – from the war against us, the defenseless civilians, or from the constant power cuts or the running out of fuel? What is our fault, and what is the fault of our children, for all this to happen to them?"
