Hi Friend, Anyone can be a humanitarian. Like you and me, they’re ordinary people who strive to make a difference for kids in need. As World Humanitarian Day approaches, I’d like to highlight some of my favorites – and maybe even inspire you to join them. Oz woke up on April 8th with a mission: break the record for most miles run around Central Park while helping others. 18 hours and 116 miles later, Oz raised a remarkable $116,000 in donations for our sister organization Save the Children to support families fleeing the crisis in Ukraine. Save the Children Action Network trains and supports humanitarians like Oz, giving them the tools they need to do this amazing work. With your donation, we can recruit more advocates and help Save the Children Action Network build an even stronger movement for kids – ensuring they get the nutritious food, quality education and bright futures they deserve. Jackie, another incredible supporter, is passionate about sharing her Argentinian culture with the world – and making it a safer place for kids. So far, her empanada business has donated over $10,000 to Save the Children, bringing hope and joy to struggling families. Friend, to reach every last child in need, we have to recruit more advocates like you, Oz and Jackie. Please, will you pitch in with a donation to Save the Children Action Network so we can train more humanitarians and support the amazing work they do for kids? Together, we can work toward a future where every child grows up healthy, educated and safe! Thank you for being a voice for kids, |
