New camping options added at three park areas

Tentrr's fully-equipped, ready-to-go campsites are now available at two additional Nebraska state parks! Tentrr provides an easy, seamless and comfortable outdoor experience and now is the perfect time of year to book your stay.

Spacious canvas safari tents come with a comfortable bed for a good night?s sleep, Adirondack chairs for optimal stargazing and a fire pit to keep you warm (don?t forget to bring marshmallows).?

Game and Parks coming to Nebraska state fair

Come see us at the state fair, Aug. 26 to Sept. 5! Game and Parks' Outdoor Encounter exhibit includes a 12-foot waterfall, a 5,600-gallon fish aquarium, air gun and archery ranges, sky fort, playground and much more. Kids can enjoy a wildlife scavenger hunt, and we will also offer an information booth with staff on hand to answer questions and sell hunting, fishing and park entry permits. All activities are free!

Now is a great time to take hunter education

Hunting season is on the horizon. Make sure you're ready and sign up for a hunter education class;?it's required for all Nebraska hunters age 12 through 29 who hunt any species with a firearm or air gun. Both online and traditional classroom courses are available.
