Dear advocate,
We are still so inspired by the incredible leadership, discussion, and sense of community at our recent National Convention, and are more ready than ever to empower the next generation of AAPI leaders alongside you.
In the spirit of building our future together, I want to highlight that August is National Make-A-Will Month. For OCA, it's an ideal moment to share our partnership with FreeWill ([link removed]) with our supporters so that they can create their estate plans for free and include an optional gift to our mission.
But I also wanted to share FreeWill with you and the rest of our incredible OCA community
— both as a thank you for your unwavering commitment to our work, and so you can secure your future and find peace of mind in protecting what you love.
An estate plan is an act of dedication to the people and causes that are important to you. You've done so much for our organization and for AAPI communities, so I invite you to extend that same level of care and dedication to yourself and your loved ones through this free resource:
Make my will today ([link removed])
I recently learned that 67% of Americans don't have a will in place, so if that includes you, FreeWill is a trusted place for you to start (regardless of whether you include a gift!).
So much of our work is about building on the legacies of the generations that preceded us, and ensuring our own legacies inspire the next generation of AAPI leaders. I believe this resource can help us get there, and hope you'll take 20 minutes to establish a legacy of your own!
Best,
Thu Nguyen
