Though reproductive care remains legal in our state, this ruling will allow a restrictive GOP law passed in 2019 to take effect — a direct consequence of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Most patients will still be able to receive the care they need. This law, though, shows exactly where the GOP is headed on this issue.

If the GOP wins legislative supermajorities in November, they’ll have the power to push through EXTREME anti-choice legislation that would be incredibly harmful to our state.
