Nancy Mace was recently on TV to talk about anti-abortion legislation across the country and said that The Handmaid’s Tale is not supposed to be a roadmap.

But the actual truth is that dystopian messages clearly were her guide when she helped write the current 6-week abortion ban here in SC and voted against measures in Congress to protect women and girls.

As I treat my patients in the pediatrics wing, I continue to think of young girls who will have to travel to other states because the law won’t allow them to have abortions here. I also think of those who might not be able to afford to do that. Our kids and families deserve better than that.

The fact is: the ONLY woman Nancy Mace has ever fought for is Nancy Mace.

I’m so proud to have stood in front of our State Senate to voice my support for abortion rights and reproductive freedom for all. That’s the future I will fight for Congress when we defeat Mace in November.
