John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:How far left are the top foundations? ([link removed]
Professional philanthropic elites--those who work at the nation's largest foundations--who made political contributions during the 2019-20 election cycle, overwhelmingly supported Democrats (96.9 percent of contributions) over Republicans (1.7 percent). CRC's Kristen Eastlick presents the data here ([link removed] the FBI's worst days behind it? ([link removed]
For most of the 20th century the FBI owned the reputation of being America's police force, its accomplishments included crippling Soviet espionage during the Cold War, putting mob bosses in prison, busting thieving politicians, and capturing terrorists. But the FBI has also been deeply involved in many recent abuses of power. CRC's Ken Braun explores the FBI's less flattering history here ([link removed] is "greenwashing"? ([link removed]
In the first of a series, CRC's Ken Braun looks at RE100, which advocates for "renewable" energy options while rejecting nuclear power. RE100 recently criticized as "greenwashing" a recent European Union vote to include nuclear energy investments in its sustainable energy taxonomy. This accusation is particularly ironic since RE100's sponsoring organizations are "expert practitioners" of greenwashing. Read more here ([link removed]

Armed with billions of dollars from tax-exempt foundations and nonprofits, pro-abortion activists work 365 days of the year to codify federal funding for abortion and to grind down restrictions on abortion. The Dictatorship of Woke Investing
In this episode ([link removed] We've discussed "woke capital" on the podcast before with author Stephen Soukup and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy. But now we turn to a related topic: environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing. ESG strategies adopted by fund managers--perhaps most notably BlackRock--can place left-of-center social policy goals as equal considerations with investors' returns in investing decisions. Making matters worse, some state pension funds are following ESG strategies that would leave taxpayers on the hook for any shortfalls.
Joining Michael Watson to make sense of it all and to explore what can be done about it is Lee Schalk, vice president of policy at the American Legislative Exchange Council.
