Is there somebody in your life that you would consider to be your hero?
For me, that person is my mom.
When my parents split, my mother took on the brunt of life as the sole provider for our family.
She put everything aside to invest in the future for her two sons. She showed us the importance of hard work and dedication to family, but she also showed us how to serve the Lord well, serve our community with excellence, and make education a priority.
The fact of the matter is, growing up, I had important mentors who taught me about running a business, managing finances, and the importance of creating opportunities for others to do the same.
My mom is my hero, but your hero could be somebody entirely different. No matter who it is for you, Friend, I want to take this moment today to celebrate the heroes in our lives together.
And if you can, please take a moment after you tell me about them to reach out to that hero in your life and tell them how much you appreciate them.
Even heroes need a little bit of love sometimes!
