Gov. Holcomb is putting MORE money back in your hands





 

John, your taxpayer refund will soon be ON THE WAY!



Hoosiers should expect to begin receiving their $200 automatic taxpayer refund
(or $400 for a married couple filing jointly) as early as this week. The
checks, the centerpiece of Governor Holcomb’s inflation relief plan, were a
part of SEA 2, which he signed into law earlier this month.



These checks are in addition to the first $125 automatic taxpayer refund. As
of Aug. 3, the Indiana Department of Revenue has issued over 1.5 million of the
first refunds to over 2.1 million taxpayers. Those who received the first one
via direct deposit will also receive the second one via direct deposit.



Eligible Hoosiers who did not receive the first refund via direct deposit will
receive both refunds via one check reading $325 or $650 for a married couple
filing jointly.



Here’s what Governor Holcomb said about SEA 2’s passing:

Negele and the many other members from both sides of the aisle who contributed

John, Governor Holcomb wanted us to reiterate that these tax refunds – which
aren’t happening in many other states – would not be possible without the hard
working Hoosiers that make up our workforce and fuel our economy.



Governor Holcomb is so proud to be sending a piece of Indiana’s prosperity
back to each and every taxpayer.
